If you have me on friends you'll know that I tend to launch a cup or poll with a renamed game, so that people see that there is a new cup easily. I have created this new group so that if you signup to this group you will receive the announcement for whenever we post news, launch a cup or decide to run a new poll.

We would really appreciate it if you joined the group if you would be interested in receiving such alerts.

Seems like a great idea, however shouldn't the main UNGL steam group be used for this? So you're targeting everyone in the group rather than just the people who want to know.

To keep growing, you need to target the people who don't want to know. Those who have signed up to this group, probably keep up to date anyway.

 MiCk It would, but I don't have admin access on that group so this was the easier way :) if people keep inviting their friends it'll help to boost the awareness of the site.

I see, just seems like a spam group so some people may not join, whereas people would be more inclined to join, the "Official" group instead. Just raising a thought anyway. :)

We publish events on here via an announcement so that you can quickly signup when a new cup is launched.

If you're new to UNGL, we suggest that you signup to the UNGL Alerts STEAM group. We use the group as a place to announce cup signups and important news, along with calendar dates.
