QuickScope is on the lookout for some more writers over the next few weeks to help us deliver some quality content from articles to prediction pieces, and help fill the site with a lot more than what is currently on offer.

Quickscope is a "community driven" news website determined to "break the mould" and deliver you quality coverage of events such as EDCSSL, KGL, ESL & the iSeries and other events that concern the wider Counter Strike Source Community. We are looking for people to help write coverage for ESL Premier League, ESL EAS-1st Division, various KGL events, and events from theSGL & UNGL. We also need people to help cover offline events like epic.NINE & i45, as we need people to help dedicate some time to covering these events. Having been a minor part of QS in the past, and still provide a few bits of graphics I can say its a nice environment to work in and a good place to get a nice bit of volunteer journalism on your online CV.

Might actually be interested in this. Although I am slightly off the pace in terms of what's going on in the CSS world.

Used to enjoy reading quickscopes articles and even done some interviews myself but QS does tend to have activity spurts and the same with inactivity.

If you had consistency would be nothing but success :)

The problem has been getting people to write on a consistent basis, if someone had the passion and drive to make QuickScope work, then I would gladly say "Hey I will watch over it, but you can run it how you want". Finding someone who has the time to dedicate to it is incredibly difficult as well as finding someone who has the passion to make QuickScope work.

I admit there have been activity issues, however with my promotion at work, the lack of constant writers, it's been a constant battle to make it work how I want it to work. And as you say, if we had consistency it would be nothing but a small success.

The point about QuickScope is it is dedicated to the "small guys" in the scene, the Froody's, the apathy's, the ED & UNGL teams, who wouldn't get much coverage on Cadred, so 5 minutes of fame elsewhere is what was needed.

Hopefully I can find someone who can fill that gap at the top to help make it a success whilst getting some coverage out of leagues such as UNGL & ED. That's what I want to do, I wanna get UNGL Pro-League & Normal Season's covered fully with prediction articles, and the same for EDCSSL etc.

What in essence I want is the community to really support it by just writing casual articles, or news snippets, or even match write ups, you know, if the community treats the site in the way they want things done, then we could be onto a massive winner.
