All players participating in UNGL matches must be registered & green-ticked on our site. (See FAQ)
To become green-ticked, each team leader needs to update their team roster with the correct HoN account names for each of his players. (Team Leader – See ‘Edit Roster’ option)
Each player can only be registered with 1 HoN team.
A player is not allowed to swap teams during the cup.
Teams are allowed to add new players to their roster at any time, but the players may only participate once they are green-ticked.
Exlusions can be made if the player was added to your HoN Clan Page at least 3 days prior to the cup start date.
Ringer(s) may be used only if the opposing captain agrees to it. ** Please take a screenshot of this approval or ask your opposing captain to write in the match comments that they approve. **
Check with the cup admin if you are unsure - the admins decision will be final!
If sign-ups exceed the cup limit, then the inclusion or exclusion of teams will be at the admins discretion.
Game Settings
Game Mode: Banning Pick, 5v5, Forests of Caldavar. (Unless otherwise stated by the Cup Rules or match options)
Game Options: All Heroes, Tournament Rules.
Before the Match
If a team does not show up for a match within 15 minutes of the scheduled time they will forfeit unless a match admin or the opposing team extends this time period.
Teams must have a minimum of 4 players to start the match.
Cup matches may be rescheduled if both teams agree on a new date & time before the scheduled start of the round. If no agreement can be made, then the default date/time will stand.
Semi & Finals may only be rescheduled with permission from the cup admin. This is too re-arrange with our casting partners.
Server location
Teams in the same region should use a server located in that region.
Best of one
EU vs USE - roll for USE/EU host (team who lose roll will host for best ping)
EU vs USW - play on USE (EU team host for best ping)
RUS vs USE - play on EU (USE team host for best ping)
RUS vs USW - roll for USE/EU (team who lose roll will host for best ping)
USE vs USW - play on USS/USC
AUS/SEA vs EU - play on USW (EU team host for best ping)
AUS/SEA vs US - play on JPN (team with higher ping host match)
BR vs EU/USE/USW - play on USE (team with higher ping host match)
RUS vs SEA - play on USW (RUS team host for best ping)
Best of three (similar for bo5)
EU vs USE - 1 on EU, 1 on USE, roll for EU/USE

Side Picking
A member from each side will /roll 1 100.
The highest roller out of the two teams will have the option to choose side or picking order, the remaining option will go the the other team.
During the Match
Teams are allowed to remake/concede the game if a vote succeeds.
No observers or referees are allowed in a match unless they are match admins, shoutcasters, or streamers.
Ringers/stand-ins will be allowed IF the opposing team captain agrees.
The cup Admin(s) MUST be notified as soon as possible if this is allowed.
The match comments must be updated that a ringer was used with the players ingame name.
Using any type of bug or a glitch is not allowed
Heroes newer than 2 weeks are auto-banned.
Couriers may be used for any purpose.
Creep stacking is allowed.
Players are not allowed to purposely pull creeps to the Hellbourne bottom lane Ancient camp.
Backdooring is allowed.
No limitation of item sharing.
If a player’s connection drops, his team is allowed to pause for a period of 5 minutes without the opposing team unpausing.
In case of an in-game dispute, pause the game and contact a match admin.
If the match admin is not available, play out the remainder of the game and submit the match ID & detailed description of the issue in the match comments for an admin to review.
Post any additional information in the match comments.
Cheats of any kind will result in an instant and permanent ban from UNGL.
After the Match
The game is completed when
The World Tree/Sacrificial Shrine is destroyed.
2 or more players on the same team type “gg†and disconnects.
Entire team disconnects before the conclusion of the game.
The match ID must be submitted by one of the teams in the match comments.
